Google Meet service had been enabled for all school Google Accounts.
To start using Google Meet, go to meet.google.com.
Make sure that you are using the school Google account when using Google Meet for school-related meetings.
1. Click the circle icon on the top right corner of the Google Meet website.
2. Check that the Google Account shown is your school account (i.e. with the "@vsa.edu.hk" domain name displayed.)
3. If it is not the case, click "Switch Account" to switch to the school google account first.
1. To start a new meeting or to join an ongoing meeting, click the "Join or start a meeting" button on the page.
2. To join a meeting, enter the meeting code or the meeting nickname into the box, and press "Continue." To start a meeting, click "Continue" or enter a easy-to-remember meeting nickname, then click "Continue".
Before actually starting or join a meeting, check that your camera and microphone are available.
1. Click the respective buttons to switch the camera and microphone on or off.
2. Make sure that the camera and microphone are usable in the web browser. ("Approve" or "Allow" the alerts coming from the web browsers)
3. Click "Join Now" to join or start the meeting.
1. 1. In the bottom right, select "Present now".
2. Choose "Your entire screen", "A window", or "A Chrome tab", then select the content you’d like to share.
3. Click "Share" to begin.
You can use another device to join the same Google Meet meeting to share the screen for presentation. Another person can help to control the presentation on that device.
1. Go to the Meet homepage.
2. Select the event or click "Join" or "Start a meeting" and enter the meeting code.
3. Click "Present".
4. Choose a window or app and select "Share".
1. While in a meeting, click "More" then "Record meeting" to start recording .
2. Click "More" then "Stop" recording when you’re finished.
3. Wait for the recording file to be generated and saved to the meeting organizer’s "My Drive > Meet Recordings" folder.
4. An email with the recording link will be sent to the meeting organizer and the person who started the recording.
